[Release Update] Take Off Blu Ray Confirmed

Take Off is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language survival thriller film based on the ordeal of Indian nurses from the city of Tikrit in Iraq. in 2014. The film is the directorial debut of editor Mahesh Narayan, with Fahadh Faasil , Parvathy and Kunchacko Boban starring in the lead role. Take Off is written by Mahesh Narayan and P. V. Shajikumar and produced by Anto Joseph, Shebin Backer and Megha Rajesh. The film was shot in various parts of Dubai and released on 24th March 2017.

Synopsis

Sameera (Parvathy) is a nurse in Kerala who is moving to Iraq for better salary. Her husband (Asif Ali) and family members are not supportive of her wish to work to pillar her family. They finally get divorced after their differences. Shahid (Kunchako Boban), a colleague from work understands all her problems and wishes to marry her. Though Sameera is initially hesitant about another marriage, the two get married before moving to Iraq. ‌Rest of the plot revolves around the troubles faced by the couple and other nurses after they reach Iraq for work.

1971: Beyond Borders is a 2017 Indian war drama film written and directed by Major Ravi. It is the fourth instalment in the Major Mahadevan film series, with Mohanlal reprising his role as Colonel Mahadevan and an additional character of Major Sahadevan. It also features Arunoday Singh and Allu Sirish. The film, set in two time periods is based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and acts as a prequel as well as a follow-up to the series. Originally made in Malayalam language, the film will also have dubbed versions in Telugu and Tamil.

Dialogues were written by Shiju Nambyath for the script of Ravi. The film was shot by Sujith Vaassudev, while Gopi Sunder provided the score. Siddharth Vipin, Najim Arshad, and Rahul Subramanian composed the soundtrack. Principal photography commenced on 31 October 2016 in Suratgarh, Rajasthan and completed on 5 February 2017 in Georgia. 1971: Beyond Borders released on 7 April 2017 in India.

Plot
